MOTOR CITY BAR CRAWLS — PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND RULES Motor City Bar Crawls Operated by Goodtime Entertainment Group, doing business as Motor City Bar Crawls Effective version: 2026-09-v2 Please read this agreement carefully. It affects your legal rights. Every participant must complete and sign their own waiver before taking part in a Motor City Bar Crawls event. 1. PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY AND CONDITION I affirm that: - I am at least 21 years old and will present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in. - I am voluntarily participating in a walking bar crawl, social event and party-game experience operated by Goodtime Entertainment Group, doing business as Motor City Bar Crawls (collectively, "Motor City Bar Crawls"). - I am physically able to participate safely in an event that may involve extended standing, walking between venues, stairs, uneven surfaces, crowds, loud music, changing weather and participation in optional games or activities. - I am not presently impaired to a degree that makes participation unsafe. Motor City Bar Crawls may refuse admission or remove me at any time if a host reasonably believes I am intoxicated, impaired, unsafe or disruptive. 2. NATURE OF THE EXPERIENCE I understand that the event may include walking on public sidewalks, crossing streets, entering independently owned bars or other venues, standing in crowded spaces, dancing, music, games, novelty drink presentations and optional group activities. The route, venues, activities and schedule may change because of weather, venue capacity, safety, traffic, construction or other operating conditions. Motor City Bar Crawls does not manufacture, sell or serve alcoholic beverages unless explicitly stated for a particular event. Participating venues control their own admission, alcohol sales and service and may refuse service or entry under their own policies or applicable law. 3. ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand and voluntarily accept the known and unknown risks associated with participating, including but not limited to: - slips, trips, falls, stairs, curbs, potholes, uneven pavement and wet or icy surfaces; - vehicle, bicycle, scooter and pedestrian traffic while traveling between venues; - crowds, physical contact with others, loud sounds, flashing or decorative lighting and reduced visibility; - weather exposure, heat, cold, rain, snow or other outdoor conditions; - food or beverage allergies, illness, choking, spills or reactions to alcohol; - overconsumption of alcohol, impaired judgment, dehydration or the acts of intoxicated persons; - optional party games or activities, including shot skis, novelty cups or containers, dance activities and similar event features; - theft, loss or damage to personal property; and - the conduct, negligence or intentional acts of other participants, members of the public, participating venues, vendors or other third parties. I knowingly and voluntarily assume these risks, whether or not specifically described above, to the fullest extent permitted by Michigan law. 4. ALCOHOL AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY I understand and agree that: - I am solely responsible for deciding whether and how much alcohol I consume. - I will obey all laws and venue rules concerning alcohol possession, purchase, consumption, public intoxication and open containers. - I will not bring an open alcoholic beverage onto a public sidewalk or street or between venues. - I will not provide alcohol to anyone under 21 or to anyone who has been refused service. - I will not pressure another guest to drink or participate in any activity. - I will not drive while impaired. I am responsible for arranging safe transportation after the event. - Admission and alcohol purchases are not guaranteed. A participating venue may refuse entry or service in its sole discretion. 5. EVENT RULES AND HOST AUTHORITY I agree to: - follow instructions from Motor City Bar Crawls hosts and venue staff; - remain with the group when directed and use designated routes and crossing points; - treat other guests, hosts, venue employees, pedestrians, neighbors and the public respectfully; - avoid fighting, threats, harassment, unwanted touching, discriminatory conduct, obscene conduct, public nudity, public urination, vandalism, littering and dangerous behavior; - avoid carrying weapons or illegal drugs; and - respect venue property and pay for damage I cause. The host's safety decisions are final. Motor City Bar Crawls may deny admission, stop my participation or direct me to leave without a refund if I violate these rules, appear excessively intoxicated, create a safety risk or disrupt the event. I remain responsible for my own safe transportation if removed or if I leave early. 6. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and waive claims against Goodtime Entertainment Group, doing business as Motor City Bar Crawls, and its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, hosts, agents, affiliates, successors and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") for bodily injury, illness, death, property loss or property damage arising out of or related to my participation in the event, including claims based on the ordinary negligence of a Released Party. This release does not apply to conduct that cannot lawfully be released or waived under applicable law. 7. RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY CONDUCT I accept responsibility for injury, damage, loss, fines, charges or claims caused by my own unlawful, reckless or intentional conduct. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to reimburse and hold the Released Parties harmless from third-party claims and reasonable costs arising from that conduct. 8. INDEPENDENT VENUES AND THIRD PARTIES I understand that participating bars, restaurants, property owners, rideshare providers and other vendors are independent businesses and are not controlled by Motor City Bar Crawls. Motor City Bar Crawls is not responsible for their acts, omissions, products, services, security decisions, admission decisions or alcohol-service decisions. 9. EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE If I become ill or injured and cannot reasonably make decisions for myself, I authorize Motor City Bar Crawls personnel to contact emergency services and my emergency contact. I understand that staff are not medical professionals and do not promise medical care. I am responsible for costs associated with medical treatment or transportation provided to me. 10. PERSONAL PROPERTY I am responsible for my phone, wallet, identification, clothing and all other belongings. Motor City Bar Crawls is not responsible for property that is lost, stolen, left behind or damaged. 11. ELECTRONIC AGREEMENT I agree that my electronic signature has the same force and effect as a handwritten signature. I consent to receive this agreement and related event communications electronically. If any portion of this agreement is held unenforceable, the remaining portions will continue in effect to the extent allowed by law. 12. FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT By signing below, I confirm that I have carefully read and understand this agreement. I understand that I am assuming risk and giving up certain legal rights, including the right to bring some claims against the Released Parties. I am signing freely and voluntarily and have had the opportunity to ask questions or consult an attorney before participating. By signing, I certify that the information I provided is accurate and that I freely and voluntarily agree to the waiver above.
